1 Sherry Eastside Diner in Utica was a nice little homey diner, and I can see why people like coming here. We had family visiting, so we wanted somewhere close and affordable, and overall we had a good experience. The place was very clean, smelled great, and had that comfortable old fashioned diner feel. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. The coffee was good, and they kept coming around to refill everyone’s cups, which I really appreciated. They seemed a little rushed at times, and the coffee would sometimes spill over the sides of the cups, but they definitely made sure nobody's cup stayed empty! I had the corned beef hash omelet, and the omelet itself was phenomenal. The eggs were really good and the main dish was definitely the highlight for me. I ordered shredded hash browns, but instead received chopped potatoes. Unfortunately, my potatoes were very burnt, with some pieces literally black, while others were brown and some were still white. My brother's potatoes were also very burnt, although he was perfectly fine with them and didn't make an issue of it. For me, though, the potatoes were definitely the biggest disappointment of the

My wife and I were delighted with our recent visit to Sheri's Eastside Diner. Our food came reasonably quick, it was hot and delicious! We had enough leftovers for the next 2 days. The staff was friendly and came over to talk with us. This also had to be the cleanest diner we've ever been in. We've told our friends and can't wait to return!

Went here today with my friend for the first time we love, the food and price were really good. We love traveling to different diners in the area.

5 Stars all the way! Yes that's right... We ate breakfast so let's stick to that. It is only a breakfast and lunch place. The food( eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries and coffee), all were excellent! And I mean cooked just as if homemade. This is not something I could say these days about most places, but yep the eggs were cooked just as ordered( over medium no loose white) the pancakes were thin and flavorful ( not dry and tasteless), bacon was crispy as ordered, sausage browned, juicy and tasty, home fries just yummy good, and oh the coffee, I saved the best for last The coffee is such an important part of a good breakfast and it sure past the test at Sheri's and our cups was kept full, there were so many servers working keeping everything moving nice and smoothly throughout the restaurant. Even Sheri was running around working hard! It was a real pleasure to watch and even more so to find a place that hit all the boxes ( a rarity)! We'll have to return, maybe for lunch too.

Went to breakfast and everything was very good. Service was ok. They just need people to show up for work. The portions were pretty good, and the pancakes are the size of a plate. The pancakes were made of cornmeal, I personally did not care for them. On the other hand, my wife loved them! Toward the end of our visit, the owner came over and spoke to us, asking us how everything was. She was very pleasant and genuine. The prices are pretty good too. We will definitely be going back, the wife suggested, "Let's try lunch!"
